Cape Donington, Port Lincoln, Eyre Penninsula, South Australia.

The southern entrance point to Port Lincoln Harbour , situated in the Lincoln National Park. My sister lives in Tulka, on the boundary of the park, introduced me to this beautiful, remote part of the world. I have been fortunate to visit South Australia several times over the last years and it is a special place. This image is one of my favourites as we were together after the trying Covid period.

We sat in her ute dunking rusks in coffee waiting for the passing squall to subside on a cold winter morning as we had done as children with our late father so many years ago in our home country. Reliving old memories and making new ones was great and although she opted to stay in bed as I set out in the dark each morning for the remainder of my visit I’ll forgive her as there was a hot breakfast waiting for me on my return.
