The Flinders Ranges are located in the far North Region of South Australia.

We were starting to head back to Port Lincoln and were going to do a stop off near Whyalla to see the Giant Cuttlefish migration. Our camping trip to Wilpena pound and the Flinders Ranges was drawing to an end. We had set up camp and as the afternoon began it’s handover to the evening, the light on the distant mountains just kept better and better. I took the ute and headed out down a country road and found a suitable viewpoint, set up my camera and proceeded to watch developments in the sky, to add to my Australian Collection.
