Ospreys are fish eating birds that have a global distribution. This pair are residents of Tulka, Port Lincoln, South Australia. It’s a great pleasure to be able to take a drive in the morning or the evening and go take a look at how these locals are getting on.

Watching birds in flight, hunting, feeding and nesting in a known location makes getting shots like this a bit easier. In previous years I had always spotted them in specific trees, now they have had a special stand constructed for their nest out on the water. Fortunately I have access to a boat and was able to get a bit closer to them. They seem extremely satisfied with their new home and nest.
